THE BAGSHAW BROTHERS

 

Three officers from The Manchester Regiment
who served in France and Belgium during World War I.


Each of them was awarded the MC;
all three survived the war.

William, Horace and Kenneth Bagshaw, with their mother Susan,

On this date, William ("Billy") received his MC and Bar and and Kenneth ("Ken") received his MC.
Horace ("Tim") had already received his MC, at Buckingham Palace on 5 September 1917.
